On the morning of August 23, 2025, the Kind Hearts Group carried out the charity program “Dream Bookshelf”, donating 4 bookshelves to K’Tu primary school campuses in Kon Chiêng commune, Mang Yang district, Gia Lai province. This is not just an activity to donate books to students in the highlands, but also a journey to bring knowledge, foster reading habits, and give wings to small dreams in the Central Highlands mountains.

During their return charity trips to Kon Chiêng, the group realized that in addition to material shortages, many school campuses here also had very limited reference books, children's stories, and learning materials for the young students. For many ethnic minority students, a comic book or a new book is still quite unfamiliar. Therefore, the “Dream Bookshelf” program was implemented with the desire to give them more opportunities to access knowledge and broaden their world through each page of a book.

The donation ceremony took place in a simple but warm atmosphere. The bookshelves were transported to each school campus and carefully installed in the classrooms so that the students could easily read and use them daily. Inside each bookshelf were many titles for children, comic books, skill books, study books, and stories that nurture young souls.

When the bookshelf doors were opened, the students began to gather around with eager and curious eyes. Some gently picked up each book to look at, while others intently read each page of a story right in the classroom. Those innocent smiles made everyone in the group feel the significance of this journey more clearly.

In areas still facing many difficulties like Kon Chiêng, a small bookshelf is sometimes not just a place to store books. It is also a door that helps children see a wider world beyond their village, a place to nurture imagination, inspire a love for learning, and sow the seeds for future dreams.

The “Dream Bookshelf” program is also part of the Kind Hearts Group's long-term charity journey for children in the Central Highlands. The group hopes that today's books will become companions for the children on their learning path, so that every day at school brings not only literacy but also the joy of discovery.

Leaving the K’Tu primary school campuses after that morning, what remained was not just the image of new bookshelves neatly placed in the classrooms, but also the focused eyes, innocent smiles, and the silent hope ignited by the small pages of books.

May these bookshelves always be filled with children's laughter.
May each page of a book open up more beautiful dreams.
And may the journey of sowing the seeds of knowledge in the highlands continue for many more roads ahead.
