Summary of the Great Moonlight Program 2026
Great Moonlight 2026
Promise a day to return
We have returned.
Leaving the distant roads, the endless hills, the small houses amidst the great forest, and the children's eyes that have made us remember forever.
In the Great Moonlight 2026 journey, we have given:
300 Mid-Autumn Festival cakes
250 printed cakes
336 boxes of milk
200 lanterns
But what remains in the end is not the numbers.
That is the laughter of the children. It is the small hands gently holding the cake.
It is the bright eyes when receiving a lantern.
And it is the people who have walked far together just to bring a little joy to places still lacking. We would like to express our deep gratitude to the generous donors, those who silently shared love. Thank the volunteers who did not shy away from long distances, scorching heat, and difficult mountain roads to complete this journey together.
Each person contributed a little, and those small things met, forming a truly warm Mid-Autumn season amidst the great forest.
Dear children,
We have to go back now.
But you all please remember, out there there are still many people who love you, wishing you health, good behavior, steady schooling, and keeping beautiful dreams in your hearts.
Then there will be a day when we return.
The road may still be far, the mountains and forests still as green as today, but we hope that by then you will be a little older, a little happier, and have more dreams to share with us.
We return, carrying the boxes that have become lighter, but our hearts are fuller with longing.
Thank you for all the hearts that have walked with us through this moon season.
We look forward to seeing you again on a new journey, with more love, more hope, and a belief that good things, however small, can always make this life warmer.
The Great Moonlight closes.
But love never closes.
